"Worst Easter Egg hunt, ever."
I'm so giddy with anticipation of next week's big Veronica Mars mystery #1 finale that I can hardly concentrate on last night's episode. Mac is back! Veronica looks really upset! Parker is screaming "rape"! Someone dies! Eeeep!!!
But, right, last night. I'm not sure what's going on with Veronica and Logan, but if his kicked-puppy look at the end when she didn't answer his call was any indication, rough times are ahead. Of course, the CW promo people have been trying to make us believe that for the past 5 weeks or so and they haven't broken up yet, so we'll see.
There was a whole lot of funny (if sometimes campy) stuff going on in the midst of all the drama, and Dick especially got some of the best lines of the night describing the "keister egg". But I think the Dean got the top line of the night, describing Sheriff Lamb: "I've met smarter sandwiches." Hee.
As far as the rape mystery goes... I'm personally ruling out the feminists as suspects, since Veronica pretty much accused them last night. I think they're our red herring of the moment. But, honestly, I have no idea who the rapist is going to be. Which makes the wait for next week just that much more excruciating...
